"Awwww you need me to stop? But you told me I could tickle you all I wanted.... And my desire is far from being sated, sweetheart."
Play Safe !, 1927.
Hi, I'm Janice, a lesbian with a glove fetish who received a nice comment from you earlier! I have a problem I need to solve. I want to tie my girlfriend to the bed and play with her once, but I want to do it in such a way that she won't have any marks from my tying her up. In that case, which would you suggest I have her wear, the black leather opera gloves or the latex opera gloves? When we play, we always wear the same gloves, so the opera gloves I wear depends on the answer.
Really good question, Janice. The answer lies less in the gloves you have her wear to protect her, but in what you use to bind her, and how you configure the bindings. Rope or cord will always leave marks, metal, like handcuffs, will leave different marks. The fewest marks are left by leather cuffs with soft edges, and I would suggest they type called suspension cuffs. But, a pair of thick gloves, latex or leather, will help reduce the marks.
Also, as a matter of safety, when you bind a wrist to tether it out, away from the body, leave it ever so slightly loose upon the wrist and have the knot under the wrist, so it pulls a bit up into the palm, not at the back so the lines strangle the veins, nerves and tendons at the palm side of the wrist. We don't want to break the toys we love, do we?
To render your partner helplessly bound without leaving any marks, requires specialized gear like armbinders or straitjackets or sleep sacks. But then, you're defeating the purpose of wearing the gloves for their fetish value (at least visually).
But, back to the question of latex vs leather; I don't recall any significant difference, but then, I wasn't looking to answer the question. So, perhaps you'll find a definite answer that you can share with the rest of us. I hope what information I've supplied you helps at least a little. Happy binding, to both of you.
