Hi, um I’ve never did this before but @curlyhairedbrock told me to go ahead a do it. This is part of a play I’m writing for Theatre. I hope you like it. :) also if you couldn’t tell by the names, it’s Supernatural related a little :)
Characters: Dean, Sam, Cas, Meg, Ruby, and Aneal/Jo. Also an evil unseen voice.
(Dean, Sam, Cas, Meg, Ruby and Aneal are sitting in the living room of Ruby’s mansion in Texas. Dean is pacing around trying hard to think)
Dean: (trying to stay calm) What have we got ourselves into?
Sam: What have we got ourselves into? You were the one that read from the book. Dean, your curiosity gets us into trouble all the time.
Cas: Guys, can you not argue right now. We have bigger things to worry about.
Meg: I agree with Clarence on this one.
Ruby: Meg you would side with him even if he wasn’t right.
(Meg gets up ready to fight Ruby but Cas stops her)
Meg: (Angry) CLARENCE I swear to god let go of me.
Aneal/Jo: Will you cut it out? She’s not worth it.
Ruby: What was that? Did you say something?
(From out of nowhere there is a loud bang on the outside of the house, making everyone jump)
Sam: Alright whatever happens stay inside. Dean?
(Dean is now hiding behind the couch cause he is scared)
Sam: Really? You are hiding behind a couch?
Dean: (Offended) Hey you better watch it.
(Another bang is heard the front door)
Meg: Are we just gonna stand here or are we going to leave?
Cas: Whatever this thing is, it has the whole place locked down in some sort of apocalyptic lockin.
Sam: What can do that? Ruby do you have anything to do with this?
Ruby: What? No. Why would you think that?
Dean: You have been shady all night now that I think about it.
Aneal/Jo: She was out of the room when Dean was clueless and knocked the thing over.
Cas: Aneal has a point. Ruby, are you hiding something from us?
(The lights cut off, the only light coming from the fireplace)
Dean: Anybody have a flashlight?
(A scream can be heard from somewhere in the house, the lights come back on)
Meg: Alright, what the actual hell? What is happening? What did you unleash?
Dean: I don’t know. I didn’t mean to..
Sam: We need to stay calm. If we stick together, then we should be fine.
(Everyone then realises that Ruby is not in the room anymore.)
Aneal/Jo: (Uneasy) Where did Ruby go?
Sam: RUBY? Do you think that the scream was hers?
Dean: I don’t know maybe. She wasn’t in the room when the lights came back on. Also she has been acting strange all night. What if whatever this is is because of her? What if she got a hold of something that she shouldn’t have?
Cas: You are not making any sense Dean.
Meg: Again, I agree with Clarence.
Cas: (Confused to Meg) Why do you keep calling me Clarence?
(Sam and Dean look at Meg and Cas very confused)
Aneal/Jo: Will you just shut up so we can figure out what this is.
(All 5 of them walk into the kitchen to find Ruby’s body covered in what appears to be blood)
(Sam kneels down by her body to check her pulse, low and behold there is no pulse)
Sam: (Shocked) She’s dead.
(Everyone goes silent for a minute until there is another loud bang from down the hall off the kitchen)
Aneal/Jo: We need to find some kind of weapon for self defense right?
Dean: Yeah, Jo is again, right. Whatever this is, we need to protect ourselves.
Meg: What can be used as a weapon?
Cas: Well metaphorically anything can be used as a weapon if used correctly.
(The lights go out again and an evil laugh can be heard from in the house.)
Evil Voice: You aren’t going anywhere now
