The Player Community
Today, November 1st, 2016, I was lucky enough to be a witness to something special in-game. This screenshot depicts Twisted Metal II earning the Shining Sword, an award given to players who have logged 100 hours on one tank.
This moment was significant; it is an example of how the players of TankPit come together to honor those who have earned the respect of the community. Twisted Metal II is known for regularly taking on large raids and lasting a ridiculously long time before going down. Despite being on different teams, all of these tanks congregated for a few minutes of peaceful interaction to honor TM2 as he received his award.
THAT is what playing TankPit is all about.
