WHAT IS A CC CREAM?
CC creams are “color correcting” creams which could help your skin color adjust better or make it more even with a natural finish. It primes, hydrates, conceals and protects your skin- inside and outside~
this CC Cream is a “pumpy” tube type which I really, reallly like because it helps me get just the exact amount of cream that I need, plus, it’s not messy AND it’s hygienic~
As you can see, the tube is also smaller compared with Etude House’s BB Creams. This one is in “Glow” (#02) and it has a light pink colored tube.
This is what it looks like fresh from the tube. you may notice that it’s color white, yes, it is, but later on as you apply it, the cream would magically adjust to your skin color.
Blended. (Without Flash)
this CC cream feels like I’m just putting a regular BB cream, it has a soft texture and it glides onto your skin very smoothly~ As you can see in the photo above, the cream is quite noticeable since it has a white color but as I said, it will later on adjust to your regular skin color.
So, this is how it looks like on my face.. no flash, just sunlight~
please let me know if you want a make up tutorial about this look :)
My CONCLUSION~
Over all, I have a love-hate feeling about this CC cream because there are times when it makes my skin horrible!! By that, I mean, it makes my skin 3x more oilier than usual when it’s a hot day, but when I use this cream during cold days (rainy days or just some days which are cold hehe) it fits my skin and it does not make my face oil up that much. As for coverage,I’d say that it has a light coverage (sheer). As for concealing, I won’t recommend this CC cream to be used alone by people who have blemishes or redness in the face since it does not help in covering them. You can use this as a base then top it off with BB Cream, if you are buying the Glow one, make sure that your BB cream is a dry type, not the dewy finish one so that it would be balanced. The glow cc cream would make your skin natural and healthy with its “glowy” effect.
