So far behind, just can't keep up

So many things pass by, can't grab on to one long enough

Thoughts even race by, I have the idea, another uses it before I can

Words escape my mouth, fall to silence, did anyone hear me

Hold on for dear life to what I claim is mine before it's gone

Always in the rears, two steps back, four steps left behind

Standing on the sidelines, waiting, hopeing, needing a lifeline

Pull me along if you catch the string wrapped around my hitchhiking thumb

Other's so far ahead, hear their words my ears are open to the stories

Will I ever tell of the same things, or is this life not for me to partake in...

The World -- Feeling like I’ve made it, in any sense. Instead I’m clinging to the feeling of being trapped, stuck on a hamster wheel and going round and round. It is where I feel safe.

What unexplored ideas or beliefs do I need to delve into?

The Hanging Man -- Letting go of my worries. Deadlines and expectations and time itself are a social constructs. There is no finish line -- life just keeps going. What purpose is making up a false pretense, just to fear it?

What untapped potential do I need to develop?

Page of Wands -- Taking a single step at a time. Letting the paths of life guide me, choosing a direction instead of fearing how many there are. 

What past event do I need to understand fully to bring myself closure?

Four of Pentacles -- When money was tight. I can’t let that mindset affect how I treat my brighter outlook moving forward.
