man so i restarted inquisition and was like, ‘i’ve gotta romance Josie finally, what kind of WLW am i if i don’t romance the most beautiful, radiant and kind woman in DA3′ but like. i’m just not feeling it. i’m playing cadash and wanted to go with the whole ‘criminal wants some peace, falls for the lady, overcomes and ends up having a peaceful, safe life’, but...
i think it just lacks that real core- not angst, exactly? and not conflict either, exactly...? it’s too sugary good time... like, there’s not the same emotional depth like sera/lavellan, inquisitor/dorian, solavellan or cullen/inquisitor- or even blackwall/inquisitor. Haven’t done Cass’s but i’ve heard it’s excellent & you can make her Divine too which is just all the sad romance tropes in one. no comment on Bull’s since that one isn’t one i like but suits the ones who do.
i mean, the duel scene is magnificent and Orlais would go collectively BONKERS over it. i’m kinda playing it just for that scene. but the romance itself might not just be for me.
