The Pink Flamingo Bar, updated for 2024!

Among a lot of little tweaks and upgrades, the biggest changes include more space and functionality. No more backwards bartenders!

...but updated or not, it is still recognizably The Pink Flamingo that locals love.

This new edition of The Pink Flamingo was made in a squeaky clean Pleasantview so you can download safely with minimal Super Duper Hug Bug threat. The original 2018 version may be infected despite my best intentions. I advise to only download this cleaner copy going forward!

Special note: redoing this lot gave me the chance to see how much the original has been downloaded (3000+ times!!!) and I'm just so humbled to learn that this little local bar is a part of so many of your Pleasantviews. Thank you so very much, and I hope everyone continues to enjoy karaoke night on Tuesdays! ;)

Langerak Family

Kaylynn surprises Daniel Pleasant with her pregnancy announcement. Although Kay didn't plan for this to happen, she's happy and hopeful that she and Daniel can work something out. Daniel, on the other hand, is terrified of this getting out and ruining everything.

Parker Langerak is born. Daniel is thrilled to learn he fathered a son. He promises to make frequent trips to visit, but it's hard to get away from Mary-Sue and the prying eyes of PV gossipers. He sends money sometimes.

Parker, Bradley Burb and Bobby Broke share a special bond in childhood.

Parker is a teen now and he did not inherit Kaylynn's shyness in the slightest!

Dreamer Family

1. Game-start scripted Cassandra/Darren portrait scene. Once Darren finishes the painting he can finally move on from his infatuation with her.

2. Darren and Brandi meet a handful of times around PV (welcome committee) and date for a short while before Darren pops the big question!

3. Brandi/Darren wed in a quaint ceremony with just their closest friends and family, but Dustin is noticeably absent.

4. Introducing Brandi/Darren's daughter: Lilah Dreamer

5. Skip Broke is back in town and comes looking for Brandi who is none too happy to see her ex-husband skulking the streets of PV again.

6. Sophie Miguel walks out on Dirk Dreamer at the altar leaving everyone devastated.

7. A happy and wholesome Dreamer family game night. Dirk is giving Bobby Broke pointers.

I'm playing my longest PV save ever where all the adults are in/approaching elderhood, the teens are now angsty adults, and the children made it to college (!!!!). Here's Alex, in his third year at SSU, maxing the logic skill in the Greek House that he co-founded with roommate Alvin Futa: The Cow Eye Society.

Would anyone be interested in some snapshots or possibly even a twitch stream of this progressing Pleasantview?

Goth Family - Cassandra

Shortly after their elopement, Cass/Don move into their own place (the property directly across the street from the Goth house) and they waste no time starting a family of their own.

Their first child, Willow Goth, is a toddler when Cassie falls pregnant again with their second child. Cassandra enjoys playing with her old doll house again with Willow. (Note the Bella doll!)

Bella returns to PV and abruptly moves in with Cass/Don. (She and Don share a lot of hilarious close calls, but manage to co-exist without too much drama.) Bella has her sights set on what she believes is rightfully hers: Mortimer and the Goth estate.

Bella/Mortimer go on several successful dates before Bella ultimately "wins" and is invited to move back in with her estranged husband.

Cassandra teaches her son, Dexter Goth, how to study. She has the highest expectations for her children not unlike what her father put Cassandra through.

So I'm revisiting my longest pleasantview save and it continues to have some truly darling moments, such as this one where the nanny randomly decided to quit during Nina's shift leaving little Nic all alone. 🙃🙃🙃

GilsCarbo Family

After a long flirtatious "friendship," Sandy and Goopy finally decide to get serious. They move in together and create a set of open-relationship rules that work for them.

Before long, Sandy and Goopy have twin boys: Richardo and Dennis GilsCarbo.

The twins grow into a pair of wild children but this family is living their best life together!

Pleasant Cemetery: Rest easy knowing where you will be resting forever.

I made a cemetery because I'm feeling strangely optimistic I'll keep my current save of P-view and I needed a place to put graves. I'm sharing because I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out, hopefully you guys like it too! :)

Some explanation for grave placement: I organized the lot based on how I typically play my Pleasantview, so you'll notice grave markings to match who goes where (see also pic with useful name guide). I didn't include Goths because they have their own private graveyard (which in my game includes Michael Bachelor, Don Lothario and Lucy Burb), and since Darleen Dreamer is already buried at the Dreamer house there's no need for space here.

Obviously, please place graves wherever you'd like and take what I have here as simple suggestion. Note: You may want to load the lot to remove the random items/my markings so it's less junky for playing lol!
