Welp I got tagged for the "show off your OC's kids" and after asking people for help how to figure this out (look. just. let me be) I got a couple pix and then did a little editing.

Rowan and Max's potential kids (no I don't have names for them. I just started this whole thing today)

And because I could, I'm going with "yeah somehow they end up with both DNA in one kid". Because blending the features/genetics is way more fun! And it's SF with immediate healing and other magical science, I can do what I want :P

So, future son. Max's hair and most of his features, Rowan's eyes and mouth.

Future daughter. (and by the way, you know Max would be Protective Dad, Who Nobody Is Good Enough To Date My Kids)

Lucky genetic mix means hair on the auburn side of red (Rowan's is a bit darker), and Max's green eyes emphasized. I think she's still got some of Max's face in there, too.

Neither Rowan nor Max would want to name their kids after their parents, I think, so they could come up with any names they wanted.

So being nosy on eye genetics and came across a site that gives not only eye colour options for offspring, but also details genetic inheritance, ability to change gene frequency, and the odds of a certain colour coming up.

Result?

Yes, it is possible for Allison Shepard to get green eyes (even pushing the allelic frequency of green all the way down to 0.01 still gives a 0.9% chance from two brown-eyed parents).

Odds of Kaidan having gotten brown eyes? 50% regardless of green gene frequency. Odds of Kaidan's brother having gotten blue eyes? Between 25% and 49% depending on gene frequencies.

Odds on Elena getting brown eyes? 50%. Odds on Lucas being able to inherit green eyes? Between 32.4% and 36.6%. Blue? Between 13.3% and 17.5%.

So, in conclusion, my genetic calculations have been pretty much in line with expectations.
