The Queen of Hearts, from a 1901 edition of Mother Goose, by William Wallace Denslow by Dunk 🐝 Via Flickr: The Queen of Hearts She made some tarts, All on a summer's day; The Knave of Hearts He stole those tarts, And took them clean away. The King of Hearts Called for the tarts, And beat the knave full sore; The Knave of Hearts Brought back the tarts, And vowed he'd steal no more. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Queen_of_Hearts_(poem) Public domain image from The Queen of Hearts, a 1901 edition of Mother Goose, New York: McClure, Phillips, 1901 by William Wallace Denslow w.wiki/37Aq
