Kassandra smiled sadly. It was true that she traveled a lot those days. She was still trying to find her mother, and she also wanted to fight the entire Cult of Kosmos. She never stayed for a long period somewhere, even when she formed MEANINGFUL bonds with people. She had friends all over the Greece. She couldn’t see them as much as she would like too, but she would also never abandon them. It wasn’t in her blood.

She put her hand on Pyara’s arm. “I won’t leave you behind. I swear it.” Her smile was more CONFIDENT this time. “I travel a lot, but I never forget people I care for. Never. So I will always come back and visit.” She chuckled playfully. “Or you could also join my crew.”

Having been sent to see where she had gone, Bayek was very relieved to see her walking alone but safe. Of course part of him wished he could sleep, but Senu was enjoying the chance to hunt and it did him good to get fresh air.

Glancing in her direction at the suggestion, he nodded once in respect and gave his usual friendly smile.

Kassandra raised a CURIOUS eyebrow as Pyara started talking that way, but she was curious about this in a good way; it sound quite good in her mouth. They had kissed before, but the other woman had gained her respect, so the misthios had never done something she wasn’t sure she could do; she didn’t want things to get awkward between them because their relationship was precious to her. But if Pyara had that interest in her now, she would certainly not complain. 

A playful smirk crossed her features as she put her hands on Pyara’s waist to bring her close to her. They were sitting together at their camp after they had hunted and eaten together, so the timing was more than great. “You can keep talking. I just wanted to have a better look at your lips while you do.” She teased before she kissed her deeply.

Élise smiled sadly as she titled her head. Did she ? She had been killed by Germain in her own time period, and had been sent there, in another time where she didn’t know anyone; where she felt LOST. But a part of her was convinced of something: Arno had succeeded and had killed Germain. She hated herself for abandoning him, but at least, her father had been avenged.

“I don’t regret doing everything I could to avenge my father.” She finally admitted. “I knew dying was a possibility, but my revenge was more important than anything else, and I’m sure my father finally rests in peace now.”

Kassandra shook her head. The Cultists would always be after her or the people she loved. No matter what she did, they would never do otherwise. This was why she wanted to kill all of them. She wanted her family back, and she wanted the Greek world to be at peace. But with the Cult of Kosmos, it was impossible.

She approached Pyara, a sad look on her face. “No. They will never leave me alone. Never. They have something against me and my family, and I’ll make them pay for what they’ve done. You don’t have to go.” She hesitantly raised a hand and gently stroked the other’s cheek. “As long as you’re near me, you are safe. I promise.”

Kassandra chuckled softly. She never knew how to react when she received such a kind compliment. Usually, when people talked highly of her, it was because she was strong, because she could fight many men at once. But they never mentioned the person behind the warrior. Pyara seemed to find her COMFORTING though, and Kassandra almost wanted to kiss her for these words - the only reason why she didn’t was because she didn’t want to make the situation awkward if Pyara didn’t want that. So instead, she gently squeezed her hand.

“Then, it seems to be better for you if we spend more time together, mmh ?” She said, half-teasing and half-flirting, a smirk on her lips. “Seriously though, I’m glad you feel that way. I’ll do my best to make you feel safe.”
