"I said you would lead my flock. My people.." He was leaning against that tree. Almost laughing. All of his plans were so wrong about the world. Everyone was power-hungry. How could he believe the world was going to be fixed. Why did he trust in that voice Something that caused him so much pain? Why wouldn't it just release him? No matter how many times he begged. It never would give him freedom. (Why?!)

So much pain in the world. But now he was trying to fix his mistakes. Trying to correct his people until leading themselves until the best thing we can be. But nothing seemed to go right.

(Why couldn't it go right?! What went wrong to deserve this??)

He almost lost faith. Something he thought he'd never do. But weak after week after week of suffering and starving himself... He doubted the word he had studied so viciously. (Losing faith. Getting weak. Love long lost and forgotten)

When he saw the captain for the first time, he assumed they would be a beacon of hope. Something that remains from the old world. He kept praying and praying.

For a moment. He thought prayed they would be safe. He thought they would have something suitable. He watched the captain fought. The Captain won. They were helping people. Being the hero, they so desperately needed.

Then... Ethan...

Everything fell apart at that moment.

Joseph never thought that they would be the one to take over.

He never thought the shepherd would fall to that sin fall into greed his so many have before him. He was horrified (ANGRY).

They were supposed to be righteous! They were supposed to be the one to leave his block. To take his place as their shepherd. Their soul was so pure and blameless.

How could they turn this dark? This... power-hungry?

He pushed himself off the tree. The symbol of something he had been looking for. The symbol that he wore on his chest with pride. Walking towards the captain. His jaw locked eyes narrow he looked like he was already to break. (An old man filled with rage)

He would not win the fight if he picked it.

"You're not worthy of leading many people. You are here to lead the righteous..." Extending his pointer finger. Pushing it into the other's chest. "...To lead our pure children. You are supposed to be the shepherd for my flock. Not for all of Hope. You want to be the hero. You have to be a hero. But sometimes. Sometimes you need to stick with what you have."

His eyes looked sad... angry.

A wave of anger only a few would understand.

"Why can't you be happy following your true purpose. Why must you always deny?!" His voice. Screaming something almost like thunder.
