Daffodils and V

What do daffodils represent?

I love learning about flowers and after watching V's route opening, I realized I don't know anything about them other than we, for some reason, have a pair that bloom every spring in front of our house. So, I looked them up.

Daffodils symbolize rebirth and new beginnings. Daffodils have meanings of faith, honesty, truth, forgiveness, and forthrightness. They are also symbolic of the clarity of thought and the power of inner beauty.

What do daffodils mean to V was my second question before looking them up but the answer is all right there. Perhaps, in this route, we'll finally see the V we want. In the video, V looked much more mature to put it simply. Before, Jumin said that V would back down at the first signs of confrontation; he was by no means a fighter. But now? Now, V looks confident in a way. He looks stronger.

Perhaps we now in Another Story have a V that is honest and more outspoken. A V that no longer hides anything from his friends. A V that can forgive Rika and more importantly himself. A V that can finally be Kim Jihyun with confidence and receive the love he truly deserves. He was a daffodil that was looked down upon by the sun, struggling to survive. Maybe now, we can nurture him properly. I want nothing more than to love him the way he deserves myself.
