I have a western/cowboy kunichuuzai au that’s like half formed in my wips rn that I think abt from time to time. Kunikida as like an out of town ranger, Dazai as a town lawyer that knows a little too much, and chuuya as a rancher that may or may not be an outlaw running from something

I got really into the spread of Buddhism across Asia and how it changed/ interacted with native religions. Also just a lot of tabs and rabbit holes about native religions across Asia and the pacific islands as well. When I was in uni I focused a lot of research on how religion affected society so the globalization of it all is really interesting to me

This is my favorite book ever. Seven Kennings is what Game of Thrones wants to be. We have an intriguing well thought out magic system, memorable characters, political maneuvering, war, loss, tragedy, love, WELL WRITTEN FEMALE CHARACTERS, QUEER CHARACTERS, POC CHARACTERS. There is so much to love here. I will admit it can be hard to wrap your head around all the names and places and magic system at first. However, if you take the time to delve into it it's so so worth it.

Please please read it it's so good.
