Remembering 2017
The year is almost coming to its end, therefore it's time again to look back which moments marked Architectuul in 2017.
Ruins are Cruins wrote a witty follower of our Facebook.
Marcel Breuer got attention at Twitter.
Beside Architectuul’s everyday company on social media, you had the opportunity to follow eleven Forgotten Masterpieces (#foma) on our blog. Our special curators captured important moments in the time of forgotten architecture. Thanks to Alessio Rosati, Lorenzo Zandri, Mariabruna Fabrizi and Fosco Lucarelli from microcities, Tinka B. Prekovič, Alberto Martínez García and Héctor Rivera Bajo from Hidden Architecture, Luka Skansi, Fani Kostourou, Piet Volllaard, Ricardo Oliveira Alves and José Tomás Pérez Valle.

#FOMA 5: Plaster Masterpieces by Tinka B. Prekovič
#FOMA 4: Five Concrete Pieces by Mariabruna Fabrizi and Fosco Lucarelli.
Beside #foma Architectuul was discovering not credited work of women architects. In seven campaigns Pioneer Architects we presented work of thirty five women since the early modernism. Architectuul is invited to present the Pioneer Architects campaign at MOMOWO Conference in Torino.

Tangshan Organic Farm in Tangshan (China) is Architectuul most visible new building 2017. Archstudio created simple floating architecture for processing organic food from raw materials to finished products.

What we have read at Architcetuul in 2017 we share in Book Review in collaboration and published by our partner Jovis. Other collaboration partners are Docomomo International and Lisbon Architecture Triennial. For sure we continue a media sponsorship at the Future Architecture Platform.
Centre Pompidou celebrated his 40 years. You can either love it either hate it, never stay indifferent as Beabourg will be always a breath taking building.
UN Habitat sponsored document on urban planning focuses on the idea of creating open complex and rich environments through cross-linking spatial components and urban functions. This is exactly what Plečnik excelled in 80 years ago. Therefore we ask what can we learn from Plečnik today?

Architectuul would like to thank to community and all 2017 contributors and wish you a year full of fantastic architecture stories!
