I'd do the magazine returns at the newsstand, and grab the $25.00 pay, buy an illicit Beck's at the U-Totem, chugging it quickly, then take the bus to the mall, and buy a science fiction paperback and an album, maybe get a slice of pizza. And sometimes I'd want to stretch the money a little bit. I'd been used to stealing paperbacks from the Waldenbooks, but stealing the record was so nervewracking I never tried it again.

And also: this is good music, better than anything, for example, that The Firm ever put out.
