No Jun?! No AUs?! That's gotta change! Let's go with Prince!Jun and Pauper!Y/N! Plot is he's trying to get away from the kingdom for a while and finds Y/N in the forest after stealing some food. As time goes on, they get closer and closer until one day, he asks her to spend the night in the castle. After their romantic night, one of the guards (Seungkwan, since he doesn't have any fics either) finds them in bed together and try to help them get out of the kingdom. Hope it's not too much! Thanks!

(A/N): GUYS! This is our first AU!!! THIS IS SO EXCITING!!! However, turning it down a notch, I’m experimenting with this traditional AU! formatting, so please let me know if this is something you like or suggestions for a better format.

So like Prince!Jun is handsome af

Especially with the crown on

And somehow the sun is always helping him out

Like he’s just sitting there on the windowsill reading a book or something and the sun is like coming THRU for him

Legit whole 9 yards. Angelic glow, clear skin, e v e r y t h i n g

Rip all the maids or anyone who walks past him

King and Queen are like super proud of their handsome boy but also like ‘sweet. We can marry him off to anyone we want and solve all of our diplomatic problems.’

They of course truly love him with all their heart, but seriously like they are only half kidding. This kid is just…godsent

Because while he seems like the laziest and greasiest piece of shit, he actually does his princely duties

Like wow. He actually attends meetings?

Genuinely interested in the people of the kingdom?

Studies well?

Had manners?

Goes outside and practices sword play with Knight!Coups?

Is actually fit and not fat from all the sweets he sneaks from the kitchen?

Politely dances with everyone at the parties?

Even the hella drunk ladies of the court who are way too old for him and keep grabbing his butt?

He’s just a great kid

But sometimes, he just needs to get away for a while and enjoy being young

So quick excuse and maneuver behind the curtain to get away from his personal Guard!Seungkwan and he’s off to the forest

The swish of the leaves, being alone, and the overall serenity of the forest relaxes him, so he goes there when he can

Cue meeting you aka the love of his life

Right

So you are Pauper!(Y/N)

Which basically means peasant if you didn’t know

But that don’t matter coz you FINE

Like woah girl/guy.

Silky hair, prettiest eyes, sweetest voice, rockin bod, etc.

You’re drop dead beautiful

But also just the sweetest thing ever and everyone in the kingdom really likes you because you are so nice but also because you bake the best apple pies. Just go with it. I’m trying here.

And so, by sheer dumb luck *wink* *wink* *wink*, you are also there at the forest

at that exact same time

at the exact same spot

picking apples

You’ve got a cute lil basket and everything

And you’re on your tip-toes because ya need to get that one last one reallllyyyy high up there and…

‘HOLY MOTHER OF GOD!’

because someone just appeared and reached up behind you and picked it and wow it’s Prince Jun and wow even more handsome irl and wow

he just smiles shyly rambling something about manners and damsels in distress

because he’s also like wow you are just so beautiful and like wow is your eye color even real and your hair is just so pretty and like holy wow.

After you both get over the initial wow

You smile awkwardly like, ‘great and all, but can you give me my apple now?’

And he’s kinda like ‘what? Your apple? You do know that this is on the kingdom’s property and these are ours right?’

Cue your freak out because you didn’t know you were stealing from the KING AND QUEEN. You had just assumed this forest was community property. And oh you could see it now. Shackled and thrown in the dungeon to be tortured and executed.

God save your soul

Jun seeing your panic, quickly amends that he’s sure his parents’ wouldn’t mind and if that isn’t enough, he, the prince, is pardoning you, so please don’t freak out and here’s your apple

And he’s just so blushy and such a cute muffin and just awwwwww

After you calm down and he stops blushing, you two talk start talking and you are surprised that you two have so much in common and that he’s actually a really stand-up guy

but then he realizes that he’s supposed to sit in on his father’s council meeting today and he needs to leave now if he’s to get there in time

So he’s like, ‘sorry. I’m so sorry. Sorry.’

And you of course are like ‘no, no. Don’t feel bad. You are the price after all.’

He grins and offers some cheesy line like ‘so I’ll see you around’ or something gross like that before quickly leaving

And you just smile as you watch him disappear behind a line of trees, thinking that you aren’t going to see him here again and this was just a one-time thing

BUT NO

Cause plot and fate and stuff

But also cause right after that meeting, Jun is like doing all the research he can on you and trying to do math to figure out how long it’ll be before you’ll need to return to the forest to get more apples

Bothering the cook to the point that he started beating Jun away with a wooden spoon

Casually tries to bring it up with his parents

Blushes a lot, stutters, and just fails.

Cue parents getting worried because ‘are you okay? You’re looking really red! Are you going to pass out? DOCTOR!’

And he has to hurriedly cover up the situation because he doesn’t want them to know yet and it’s a mess

By the end, he’s exhausted and just settles for going to the forest when he can and hoping for the best

And somehow after his 3rd visit when he starts giving up hope, low and behold, there you are

Straining for the high apple again

He shakes his head with a fond smile like, ‘why must you make your life so difficult?’

So he startles you again

And you two talk for a while again

And when it’s time to leave, he says something cheesy again

And y’all start planning your secret dates

And it’s the start of something beautiful

This goes on for a while and Jun realizes that he’s starting to miss you, despite seeing you only a few minutes ago

Like he legit misses you the minute you are out of his sight and same goes for you

You both find yourselves falling steadily in love

And just awwwwww

Because you start holding hands

And cuddling

And cheek kissing

And kissing

And just being in love

And saying ‘I love you’ for the first time

After that, the ache in his chest grew heavier

One faithful night after that, he’s a little late to your meeting spot, but when he sees you, Jun just can’t take it anymore. It’s been 3 seasons since you two have met and he just can’t take it anymore. Spur of the moment, he s.coups you up into his arms and asks you to marry him

Tears falling, you, of course, say yes and y’all kiss and it’s just really cute

Afterward, Jun asks you to stay the night with him. Because ‘please. You just became my wife.’

And you relent and allow him a bright smile as he tugs you towards the castle

And don’t ask me where your parents are in the middle of all this because I have no clue

So sneaks you into the castle

Y’all have a nice night

Smutty or not. Choose your own adventure.

But you’re in his arm and you’ve never felt something so right before in your life and you just know he’s the one

With that thought, you let his breathing lull you to peaceful sleep
