listen not to be a hater because i do like WFA but i think it growing more popularity in some online fandom spaces than actual batman comics is why batman fanfiction is largely out of character now. which honestly is a massive shame because i think wfa explores really interesting stuff when put alongside the more. uh. batman batman stuff. but when you take it completely out of context and start writing about dynamics warped from wfa it starts getting enormously confusing and just… not batman anymore.
