Jill wept about financial struggles before a dunkin donuts outing and then told the internet that she didn’t miss the cruise at all because she spent “4 magical days” with David, presumably in Disney World the whole time as she posted Epcot already. Unless she got a killer discount on park tickets and hotel stays through Nathan and Nurie as FL residents, way more than the $500 payout was spent on this vacation within their normal February vacation…and was probably spent well in advance because I feel you probably can’t just spontaneously book a 4 day Disney stay nowadays?

My mom and stepdad *just* planned a long Disney trip for themselves and my much younger step sis (and because they're boomers I helped a lot lol) and one thing I know for a fact is that there's absolutely no way $500 would cover 4 days in Disney World, even if you're doing it on the cheap. Nathan and Nurie's house is over an hour and a half away but even if they stayed there most nights, just the food, tickets, trinkets (which you KNOW Jill got tons of) alone for that amount of time would be way more than $500. Throw at least one night at a resort on top (which reddit found out cost them around ~$200 a night) there's just no way.

The tax refund thing is a good point, maybe that's what they used to cover the rest? Or maybe if Plexus was involved, they comped the hotel somehow? But then like the first ask mentions, it feels kind of crazy that they were able to plan this all with so little notice (I planned my family's trip about 7 months in advance) unless Plexus again was somehow involved, but tbh that feels very unlikely. Jill only happened to be in Florida because of Nurie, and who knows where the other Plexus reps who this affected are located.

Anyway the crying about finances just to immediately drop hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars at notoriously expensive Disney World have me whiplash. And the fact that they didn't even take ONE kid.......Interesting priorities as always, David and Jill. Hopefully God helps Jill through this trying time of not getting to go on a cruise that she would've just complained about anyway 🙏
