sylvia swan never really got over the guilt she felt after her best friend alison’s disappearance. developing a nicotine addiction, two months in radley, and her first crush pretending she doesn’t exist anymore, it’s safe to say she is just learning how life can really change in the matter of just moments.

going back to college was the nail in the coffin, her other friends are pretending the situation with alison didn’t happen, one of them moved to iceland and the others have new friends they hang out with… just what exactly did sylvia miss during her time in radley?

pretty little liars is a huge comfort show of mine, although i’m one of the show’s biggest critics i am also one of it’s biggest fans. it’s got a special place in my heart, therefore i decided to start scripting this DR :3

Day 4: What is your "safe space" in your dr? Is it a person? A place? A song?

My safe space in my PLL DR is definitely both my bedroom and also my S/O Noel Kahn 🫂 anywhere that I'm with him is immediately a safe place 😽 and my bedroom is soooo calming. I have incense going all the time and my bedsheets are sprayed with lavender every morning! And I scripted that my room cleans itself every night while I'm sleeping 🙂‍↕️

┊ ➶ ｡˚ ° hanna olivia marin [born mar. 7, 2008] is the hidden sweetheart & newest it girl. she was born in rosewood, pennsylvania as the only child to tom marin & ashley marin née rowe. i first met hanna a few weeks into 8th grade when we were paired for a science project and was actually the one to bring her into the friend group. at first, alison didn’t like her much and tried making fun of her but i immediately shut it down and it didn’t take long for ali to also become protective of hanna. out of all the girls, hanna is the one i’m closest to and is the only one i’ve kept in contact with after alison’s disappearance, even after i moved out of the country. when i moved back to rosewood, she appeared on my doorstep a few days later even though i hadn’t told her yet.

┊ ➶ ｡˚ ° alison lauren dilaurentis [born jun. 6, 2008] is the dead girl walking. she was born in rosewood, pennsylvania to kenneth dilaurentis & jessica dilaurentis née drake as the youngest of 2 children. we first met on the first day of kindergarten and quickly became friends. to everyone else, she was a complete bitch but to me & the girls, she showed an entirely different side and was protective of us even though she could still be a little mean at times. unlike in the show, she had a much better relationship with jason & he was protective of her.

┊ ➶ ｡˚ ° scarlett maëlle beck [born jul. 12, 2006] is the twin flame. she was born in créteil, france as the 3rd of 7 children. i first met her a few days after moving to paris with my parents and was the first person to realize that i could speak & understand french perfectly even though i pretended i couldn’t. she was the one to introduce me to elias. she has an extremely bitchy personality, much like alison, but only to those that she knows are shitty people. she’s very good at judging people with one look and can tell easily if you aren’t a good person. she’s a very loyal person and trust doesn’t exactly come easy to her.

┊ ➶ ｡˚ ° elias warren castillo [born aug. 29, 2005] is the laid-back writer. he was born in créteil, france to a caxcan father & a french mother as the 1st of 4 children. like i said, scarlett was the one to introduce us and he was wary at first but quickly warmed up to me when he saw how easily scarlett trusted me. he & scarlett actually grew up a few doors down from each other and became friends due to their parents being close friends. he absolutely loves writing and has an entire box of journals that are completely filled. he uses it as a way to express his feelings and rarely lets anyone read the stuff he writes.

┊ ➶ ｡˚ ° emily catherine fields [born nov. 19, 2007] is the loyal swimmer. she was born in rosewood, pennsylvania to wayne fields & pamela “pam” fields née ábalos. i first met emily when alison introduced me & hanna to her a few months into 8th grade. emily was extremely shy at first but quickly warmed up by the time aria & spencer were brought into the group.
