The PLL moms really deserved better.

Ella: Cheated on by her husband. Found out her daughter was in a relationship with her school teacher. Eventually accepted their relationship. Tried to move on after her divorce. Got engaged to a younger guy, who turned out to be a total creep. After that fell apart, she remarried the same cheating husband.

Ashley: Forced to sleep with sleazy cop to get her daughter off a shoplifting charge. Jerked around by her ex husband after her divorce, even though he was engaged to someone else. Continually harassed by sleazy cop. Was framed for murder of sleazy cop, and sent to prison. Eventually cleared of all charges and released.

Veronica: Cheated on by her husband twice, with two different women. Two affairs, which produced two illegitimate children. One she was willing to take in and love as her own daughter. Did everything she could to protect that child. Turns out her husband conspired with babymomma #1 to murder babymomma #2. So she’s forced to give up her senate seat, which she worked so hard for.

Pam: Initially had some reservations about her daughter being gay. But she accepted it. Proved herself to be a very protective and loving mother. Had a good non-cheating husband, who was unfortunately away from home so often because of his military service. And he died offscreen.

I can't even begin to explain how pissed off I am about the fact that we'll never know HOW THE FUCK the liars' moms got out of the basement. THEY FUCKING MENTIONED IT, WAS IT REALLY THAT HARD TO PUT A THROWBACK THERE ON HOW THE FUCK DID THEY GET OUT OF THERE?
