Opinion after a year

I havent been here in a while . I was watching all the episodes and after Charlotte reveal i was dissapointed ever since. I always wanted SPENCER and WREN to be involved in A storyline . And I always wanted Wrencer to be true. So my opinion on finale - it was amazing! Everything that I wanted! Wren being baby daddy (atleast thats what I heard) , Wren being with Alex ( almost Spencer so I can take it) , Spencer twin being A thats almost like Spencer is A, and Mona bringing back her dolls!!! LOVE IT! Also I was at first happy with Melissa being A, that it was shown that it was Mona wearing her mask - I was happy with that too! But then we saw Spencer's twin!!! I've seen some clues while watching this episode that it is trully spencer's twin involved!!

the flaw in your Melissa is AD theory is that Marlene clarified the character isn't called "black widow" the fandom made that up, the character is "black veil" so the story will logically not have anything to do with a "black widow" she clarified this when the fandom was complaining why sara was black widow if she isn't a widow and she said the character isn't called that

But why would Ian will be showing up on the show again… even if black widow is not a character, the fact of Ian appearing (at the kissing rock video), when we moved forward for so long, idk it still makes sense to Melissa being AD (TBH i don’t really like this idea, but i think we don’t have much options)

Did we ever find out who attacked Mona? I mean did she ever tell who attacked her but more important why didn't the girls ask Mona who attacked her?

I was rewatching the episode where Cece was revealed as A and I noticed during her story she never referred to you Ali as Ali. She told Sara Wilden would never let my sister come back and tell her story. She referred to Ali as Sister also I don’t get why Wilden wouldn’t have wanted Ali to come back. He was the one working on the case it would have looked good for him if it was solved. Also during the part where she almost drowned Ali as a kid she recalled Mr Dilaurentis referring to Ali not by name but instead he called her simple the baby.

I don’t really have any possible reason or theory it just stuck out to me and I thought it was note worthy.

PLL/books parallel: Was Mary Spencer’s surrogate and not her biological mother?

Marlene said Spencer's story with Mary is taken from the books

In the books Spencer felt different from her family, thought she was adopted and went looking for her biological mother. The woman she found made her believe she was her ‘real mother’ and tricked her into investing the Hastings’ money and made off with it. Later it turned out she was a surrogate, not in fact her biological mother.

If they’re taking this storyline straight from the books, Mary isn’t Spencer’s ‘real mother’, just the surrogate Veronica and Peter used (it might even been Jessica who was supposed to be the surrogate but Mary pretended to be Jessica?)

It could explain why AD has been so focused on Spencer. Maybe AD is another child of Mary’s and they are obsessed with the ‘sibling’ who had it all, the perfect family, the perfect grades, and she is tied to Alison who has also been a main target from the start.

Maybe it is Ali?

We see Alison dressed differently, and in a black wig, a handful of times throughout the show. She has the twin poster in her room. What if she finds out her Mom had a twin, and starts to fantasize that she has a twin? That may be why she "chose" Hanna, and why she constantly picked at her weight. She knew if Hanna lost weight, they would appear to look more like twins. At some point, she actually starts taking on the persona of two people. If she knows why Mary was sent to Radley (just the story, not that it may have been Jessica that did it), her new persona is an evil one, and possibly out to get her good twin.
