I’m thoroughly convinced that the PLL writers had in mind in season 3 that Cece was gonna have a twin who died in Alison’s grave based off Jason’s memory of seeing Melissa and Cece talking the night Ali disappeared. But then they changed course and decided it was would have been too confusing / contradicted earlier factual information about that night so they decided to just play into the fact he was intoxicated and didn’t actually see any of that. And then just decided to make the girl who died a random blonde girl that Charlotte met in Radley who had beef with Charlotte / was crazy.

Spencer's Bullet Wound/Scar

The way they showed it made me think that the bullet wound is going to be how we can differentiate between Spencer and her twin.. And now that we know Jenna didn’t shoot Spencer, since it wasn’t her gun, and Mary probably didn’t either (she’s had opportunities to kill her since then and she hasn’t) I honestly think that maybe the writers are paying homage to the book and the twin wanted Spencer dead so she could take her life. But when her twin failed she started the end game.

I do believe that someone has a twin more likely Spencer or Alison since their mothers are twins. But I think the twin is dead. Why? Simple answer: Bethany.

There has to be a reason why, after 3 seasons since we heard her name, we haven’t seen her face. I don’t belive Bethany is the twin AND alive. Someone has to be dead and if they pull the oopsie, wrong blonde again... it will only make things worst.

Bethany has to be Spencer or Alison’s twin. It would make sense both ways why she was identified as Ali. They both share half of their DNA since their mothers are twins.

She, also, has to be the reason why this game started. Probably is her best friend or relative looking for revenge. It’s understandable. Their loved one ended up dead because of the stupid games and lies of these 5 bitches.
