There is no way I can post this without a mini rant and a mini testimony. First, the word "Lady" has been corrupted by surface level "values". Don't believe me? Look it up. Second, every single woman that had their hand in raising me beat this word in me (not literal lol) "Ladies do this Monica, ladies don't do that Monica" blaaaaaaaaahhhhh. Of course like the know-it-all I never was I rebelled. Traded in flowered dresses for jeans and novelty T-Shirts, traded in Tea time for coffee, cigarettes and foul language. I traded in who I am, not for any other reason but to NOT be who I am. Follow the trail of mistakes and hiding from what I was bred for......... and here I am, full circle, asking God who he made me to be. Ohh, the irony!! Fortunately, God didn't allow me to completely destroy myself before bringing me back around. He did, however, allow me to hit rock bottom so that he could lead me back to Genesis 1.
