some fun stuff now that I'm done with scheduling polls (for now -- it's back to the grind after this 💪): statistics and percentages!

as of right now:

Curious Village characters: 7.01%

Diabolical Box characters: 14.95%

Unwound Future characters: 14.49%

Last Specter characters: 13.55%

Miracle Mask characters: 8.88%

Azran Legacy characters: 13.79%

Crossover characters: 11.45%

LMJ characters: 10.98%

Recurring characters: 4.91%

(percentages may not add up to 100% due to rounding)

These all make sense, I think. We'll see which games get the most characters eliminated by the end of Round 1...

experiencing some technical difficulties from my laptop (where I've been doing most of the scheduling) where I have been unable to load Tumblr. posts may not continue coming for a while sorry!! I am trying to expedite this process but...

sorry for the unexpected break! we have 86 more matches left. I am going to schedule them ~every half hour until all 86 are done. this will take 43 hours, aka <2 days. starting at 9:30 PM (about 15 minutes from when this post goes out for anyone in another timezone). I have been making poll graphics all day. going to try this out and see if it works, and if it does, for the next round I'll make everything in advance and then schedule the polls. while this isn't my first time running a bracket this is much larger than the last one I ran, so this will take a bit more trial and error.

apparently I still can't count! I skipped the number 38 earlier today. polls will go on as scheduled for today but uhhhhh I will learn how to count by the end of this tournament I swear

planning to put out the first 32 matches out tomorrow. at this rate round 1 will be completed in a week, by my calculations. prepare for war! (lightheartedly. lighthearted war. please remember that this is all for fun)

By the way -- all characters have been seeded, I'm putting matches on the bracket right now, I'm approximately 64.5% done putting them on the bracket! The bracket is on a spreadsheet because I do not have any graphic software capable of handling a canvas big enough to make a bracket with 200+ matchups and I need some way to keep track of everything, so I may not make it public immediately, but the final bracket will definitely be public.

First round will (probably) begin tomorrow.
