Plif and Plof are a set of sandri twins from the ice floes of Iconox, In their early youth, they were kidnapped and put on display in the archives of New Atero. After half a decade of living inland and learning about the surrounding language and culture, they were released from the archives after a small minroe settlement discovered that the fishfolk, were not only too intelligent to be normal wildlife, but that they were a sapient species, native to the northern waters. For the next five years, they were bought and sold by multiple steltian aristocrats,who taught them many skills, and even about stealth, thievery and acrobatics, eventually they landed in the possession of powerful minroe, who simply gave the twins to a sandri businesswoman by the name of Azu Osimiri the twins now handle most of Azu’s land affairs, but when left to their own devices Plof will come up with ridiculous schemes to help benefit her sibling and employer, while her brother, Plif will calmly explain to her how her plans will never work, before diving back into his books surprisingly, they both seem to enjoy kohli, but they’re absolutely terrible at it, no one has told them that though
