Band au - Will be a separate explanation (since it's our main au)
Childhood au - Basically the knee deep boys have been friends since childhood, only meeting mc in college (band au is combined with this)
Rivals band au - Rylee and Milo are in a band with Liam and some other dudes and Anthony and Cal are in a band with other random dudes! They're rivals (hahshahsn the name of the au) and their fans are at each other's throats, digging up anything about their past to use again the other (Somethinf that both groups do not like or agree to) and boom soon enough we get yaoi
Cafe au - Anthony and milo work at the cafe and rylee and cal are regulars
Actor au - Knee Deep: In Love! Is a show, uHhHH and yeah theyre actors! It's very silly
Spy au - All of them are part of some illegal, private organization, Milo is the sniper, Cal is mostly works behind the scenes and acts as a bodyguard for them (all while being his annoying and whimsical self!), Rylee uhhh kills using poison, Anthony d9es close combat

Band au explanation below (lore plus plot)
The four boys have known eachother since 13~15 which is where childhood au takes place,, basically here rylee is still cis as he was biologically a girl in fayes headcanon!! his given name was riley so ill refer to him as that whenever referring to the childhood au ok.. anywya so yeh riley liked anthony during her childhood years but as she shifted into being trans, his love for anthony was kind of like. Faded.??? I mean not extremely faded but like he still liked anthony but not in a way that he’d actively pursue him, mainly due to religious trauma and internalized homophobia, in which, he thought if he’d like jelli, then he’d technically be straight, right!! right. but here’s the thing,, anthony did not like riley whatsoever before because he was still gay.. but as they figured out their shit blah lahvlah he turned omniromantic and suddenly had a liking for rylee since he was so nghhh sugoi cutesy handsome and all. And uhhgmgmgmmm additional notes, during childhood, milo had an emo phase which led him to have liek this diary which he’d right his sad thoughts and stuff, but as he evolved and became an adult he despises his younger self, and frankly enough, i think he’s the opposite now and with cal they used t9 be called Liam and they're non binary and uhjuuhhhhh Liam is their first name, cal being their middle name!!! Cal is a nepo baby and their parents reaalllyy do not care whay they do so that's why he's kinda all over the place cause he kinda has TOO MUCH free will...... oh also to add on riley had already confessed to anthony but liek. He shut her down pretty damn quick cuz like gay and all but they made up quickly after that too i guess. nad now present, band au technically uhmmm rylee plays electric violin, milo plays guitar, cal plays bass, anthony plays drums and mc is the producer
