Making a recommendation list of everything that made me fall in love with reading and writing.[Part1]
( In no particular order because I got inspired by @calamitys-posts and thought I should share the love. Since today's Eid and I'm free, so why not? π)
-> I'm gonna try and follow the timeline from where I got introduced to fanfiction as whole. Please note I'll only be adding the fics that I somewhat remember well. There are too many for me to add. Like I read about 50+ fan fics on average each month. ( so I started at the end of 2023 during November)
[ since I'm introducing the fics that got me into the world of fanfiction, of course it's going to involve the founding fathers of YAOI. LoL. Yes the men everyone knows in love. Ain't no way they don't have anything going on like come on! You need basic ball knowledge for this or not idk. ]
Naruto
Goldfish by V00v ( Mafia Naruto X sasuke, got my baby boy kawaki being over protective of his crush and our beloved Naruto. There's no romance between them though. The plot follows kawaki going around hunting his organization because they didn't something unforgivable ( can't spoil Lmao) and then how the others get involved and find the truth. It is the best thing I've read till now ( even after 2.5 years) in fanfic history in context to mafia. The possessive behavior, writing and the plot. I'm telling you everything is amazing. This was a MASTERPIECE!!!!!! 10000000000/10 It was my descent down the rabbit hole. π₯Έ my first ever fic
We kill our way to heaven /the aftermath ( both fics also by v00v ) did I tell you how much I loved these works ? Well, they're the hill I'm ready to die on. The author is a devil for disappearing after 3 works π.
-> cough cough* anyways, π§Then I suddenly thought shikamaru was hot as hell π€ and decided he deserves to be shipped with our baby Naruto.π I don't exactly remember which fic I started for this. But the one that stuck with me was the one below.
Mask Boy by tarohuzuu ( Shikamaru X Naruto , The plot is Naruto never joins the academy and shimamru meets him by mistake during one of his cloud watching. It's the cutest x wholesomest (I know that's not a word but still) story every. But the dark and gory elements are present throughout the story. π€All the bullying and abuse by villagers is shown and I just love how shimamaru brings them in question and shows these people there are consequences to your actions. The rest of the konoha ten and Gara and the rest meet Naruto during the genin exam and think of Naruto as a little bro. This story was my go to during exam stress and I spent hours reading it. It's an amusing story with romance, possessive behavior, dead dove, fluff and all the right elements !!!!!)

The lost page of Broken Crest by neko1998 ( involves Boruto, kawaki, sarada and the white hair guy (mitsuki?) Travelling back in time after destruction of their konoho to come to the time where Naruto is int the Shippudun era. They're all extremely overpowered and emotionally vulnerable, the last thing they remember is Naruto sacrificing himself to save them. They possessive, yandere and ready to go to all lengths for their 7th hokage π. 500000000/10 recommend!!!! Especially if you want to enjoy the time travel troupe)
Lest you fade here all alone by syluk (Naruto goes back to the past and raises himself and the other traumatized children as his own. He pretends to be his own uncle and gaslights everyone into accepting him as his own Father's brother. Yes you heard me. He's overpowered to the point no one can beat him but he has to follow the timeline laws in some way ig. He also saves my baby gaara and shisui . It's very dark but I'm telling you, once you start. There's no leaving. The found family and healing in this is beautiful.It's amazing!!!!!!! I love this author's work so much πππ)
Naruto's road to Non-hokage by Incognito01 ( Except my boy can't escape. He wants to quit so bad, he even offers it back to Kakashi sensei and sasuke. π The pull the hell no on him.π Poor guy he trying to quit but they all chase the hell out of him.πΉ He then decides to f this shit and time travel. But of course nothing goes right and he ends up summoning his baby self. The genin self of him to the future. He then proceeds to try to manipulate him to consider that hokage is the boring job known to man. And when the baby naruto says it looks cool though. He lies that all the hokages die an early death. π₯Ίtsunada is alive. But baby Naruto doesn't know π. Kakashi exposes it and Naruto is wishing on his eight ancestors for his death to come before his doom.π€‘ The crackist crack I've read ππππ. 5000000000/10 for humor. The writing is peak. Best if you wanna laugh to the point you have stomach pain)
The world shall burn for you by Yoru_Lun ( made me genuinely cry. Gave what kishimoto did not. Shows how abuse doesn't just Dissapear because an abuser stop. I despised how the village's abuse and discrimination of Naruto was swept under the rug. Here we see the konoho eleven being a wall for Naruto and allowing Naruto to keep distance from the hypocrites of village who suddenly remembered Naruto is a hero and wasn't the one at fault for their tragedy. π€ )
All works by Tortillachipgal ( if you want dark Team seven that obsessed with Kakashi to the point they're psychopathic and make you question how dead is the dove going to be. This is for you! This author writes gore, possessive behavior, dead dove, loss of sanity, descriptive writing very well. She's one of my biggest inspirations!!!! 10000000000/10. Love love love her works.)

To protect his smile by ProfessionalRanter (One of the biggest reading for me getting interested in writing!!! It follows the plot of Garp quitting the Marines and making a crew of his own. This includes robin:'s mom, law's sister, the ice guy from the admirals, a whole bunch of powerhouses. Garp my man makes HIS INTRO by killing a fricking celestial dragon and he proceeds to do that again and again!!!! His his bounty is double that of Gold Roger and I'm telling you the plot, the writing, the comedy, everything is chef kiss. π₯°π)

Suprise, you've ruined everything!!! By HippyMindy52 (Yandere! Whitebeard Pirates X Reader , best humor I've seen in this kind of genre in a while. Involves reader isekaing into thatch's bed and then proceeding to get chased by the whitebeard pirates. The way she tricks them and screws them over is amazing. Literal grown pirates getting tricked and being manipulated so many times. I got second hand embarrassment for THEM , that's how genuinely smart she is. Warning, it does have a little smut. But I skipped that and it's been a while since I read it, so not sure. 100000000/10 amazing πππππ )
How a rumor fixed everything and ruined crocodile's life by ValleyOfKings( remember the theory that says Crocodile is trans and might've been luffy mother? Well everything here thinks that. Crocodile denies all he wants but keeps getting screwed by the circumstances π. It's to the point where his own subordinates think that's true that there's this chapter where big mom thinks that crocodile is dating dragon ( luffy's dad) and gives him advice how us woman should dispose of the useless ones. πΉπΈ Sabo and Ace are there for the ride. Crocodile my guy also gets mistaken as whitebeard's daughter cause whitebeard launches himself at him to protect luffy and him. Creation the rumor. He's fuming. Poor guy. Crackist crack 1000000000/10 recommend. Especially if you want to have a good mood by the end of it)
There's two of them !!!! & Brother complex and how it traumatizes others By Invidia_Envy ( How brocon Ace and Sabo make everyone hate living. It's got great humor and fun. It's so cute and traumatizing for Marines and pirates lol. Half of the vice admirals deeply hate ace because that man literally bind them with ropes and made them listen to him taking about how cute luffy is and what dumb things that boy did when he was younger. Safe to say, lots of them are under therapy. Wya to go Ace! π Not that Sabo is any better π€¨ He's worse. So much worse. 10000000000/10 for humor. Loved it, crackiest crack)

They write for Batman, one piece, and several fandoms!!!! I adore the buggy fic and the fic where luffy decided he wanted to be king of teachers and where luffy became the king of actors in the modern world. Love those so much. With you by oXCheeseburgerMilkshakeXo ( Buggy & Roger pirates, explores how bias to one child can affect the other even then you're not intentionally doing it. Made me cry so much. The way I cursed Roger and the rest for being so dumb but God did it fall in character with them. This is my canon. Shanks and buggy's friendship in this is amazing!!!!! 100000000/10 made me wanna adopt buggy and keep him in my pocket. π₯Ή)
