Sushi: "I- I'm not sure- All I can really think of is I hit my head on something? My dad said that it was nothing and I dont know where my mom is..." Sushi sighs. (@asktheovertaken )

Arrival

The crunching of snow under shoes (or just feet, in the case of Harry) was all Cesare could hear as the group made their way through the woods. 

Winter was not known for being a particularly loud season anyway, but the silence was making Cesare a bit on edge. He wished there was at some sort of ambient background noise -- wind, birds overhead, anything besides their footsteps. It didn't really matter in the end though. What mattered most, of course, was finding Elizabeth. Even if she was getting better as she claimed, if she hid out here for too long she'd likely freeze to death. There was no real pleasant outcome here. 

 "How much longer till we find her?" Cesare asked, breaking the long streak of silence. 

None of the others had an answer to his question. Even Harry, as talkative as he was, only managed a half hearted shrug and a grunt in the tone of "I dunno".  Cesare expected as much. 

Oh, well. It was a bit of a silly question, he'd admit that much. They had no idea where Elizabeth was.

It must have been hours now. The woods seemed to repeat themselves like a broken record -- the same barren trees and shrubs over and over again. Was this search going to prove fruitless? The sky above began to darken, casting the area in a murky blue-gray color. 

Soon enough, night would fall, lowering visibility. Cesare took in a deep breath in order to calm himself, but he still felt a pit forming in his stomach. What if they never found her? What would happen? Was she going to die? He felt himself expecting the worst. 

Attempting to snap himself out of this worry that he had plunged himself into, he spotted something -- though the others had spotted it first. 

He thought it was a tree stump at first, but as they all inched closer, it became apparent that it was a figure, instead. Harry motioned for him to come closer; to stop straggling along in the back. 

"Elizabeth?" Cesare's voice was very quiet, with a hint of hesitation.

Ezra: Mostly good stories anyway. They were really caring of others though and put everyone above themselves.
