I stopped resetting for villagers as I was on over 200 resets for Colton with no luck and my sanity could no longer take it XD

So, I'm doing the plot reset trick and after about five times, a plot doesn't show up anymore? i check every inch of town and there's no plot, but i'm afraid that if i start with my mayor, one will appear in a bad spot! has this happened to anyone else?

Early this morning I purchased Marina from another player and convinced her to move into my town. I decided to plot reset for her because I had the perfect spot. I’ve tried plot resetting once before and it worked perfectly for me even though its kind of time consuming. This time though on the first try Marinas roped off plot was in a really bad spot, so i ended the game and started over, but this time when i came back to see if her roped off plot had changed she was actually moved in already, even though I hadnt logged onto the game on my mayor, or changed the day or time or anything. I freaked out and ended the game again and started over but shes still here, 100% moved in. What just happened?? Are we no longer able to plot reset or did my game just glitch out??
Yall I was plot resetting in my new town and the villagers kept changing and finally I not only got a dreamie but also a good placement Im so happy 😭
Plot resetting is annoying af, but how more annoying is it when Coco decides to put her house plot right outside your town hall... Yeah, i’ll just plot reset.

Second day of resetting and still no Rudy in sight. I did get Stiches, though. But if he wasn’t in such a bad spot (and his house wasn’t so bright) I might have let him stay. xP
