ACNL: Plot Resetting Help!

Hi! So I have a few questions for those who have done plot resetting in their ACNL town! Rod is moving on March 2 and I wanna make sure the new villager won't place his/her home on certain spot. This spot that I don't want the villager to move in is Biskit's old spot. I planning to make it a garden. I watched YouTube videos on plot resetting and how to do it but I wanna make sure that whenever I plot reset will my flowers and trees be destroyed because of the villagers plot? Or will my trees and flowers be safe? I also read that the amiibo designs (qr codes) can also help make sure the villager won't plot it's home on a certain spot. Is that true?? Need help please! :((

Plot reset trick ~ tutorial!

Heey ! So, you wanna plot reset but don’t know how ? I got you covered ! Here’s my little tutorial, mainly created for myself when people ask me how to do it, but feel free to use !

A) you know someone’s gonna move in aka you fetched someone/just started/scanned a card.. etc B) create a new villager ** C) when done talking to rover, take a tour of your town (with the WA update, they don’t go on paths.. so you can just paths some areas you don’t want them into - but be careful !! as they will go on it anyway if there’s no place for them) D) if you like the area they’re in, great! talk to isabelle & place the house. you can delete that villager after you saved & quit. D-2) if not… quit without saving. press main menu & exit game. rinse & repeat   B & C. Note that after about 10 times, you’ll need to completely shut the 3ds since the villager will had gain a “pattern”.

** When you load your town, weather with your mayor or an existant player, Isabelle saves the town how it is automatically :/ That’s why it won’t work.

Yall I was plot resetting in my new town and the villagers kept changing and finally I not only got a dreamie but also a good placement Im so happy 😭

I just finished covering all of one of my towns in patterns to test the amiibo move-ins. I've done one move in with two plots cleared, one with perfect trees in it and one plain. With plot resetting it went to the plain plot every time. I'll keep reporting as I find things out.

If I TT to the day a villager was in boxes (being that day the last day I saved my game) Will the new plot dissapear?

when you invite a villager with wisp... the house is placed in a random spot without the chance to plot reset???!!!

whut? plot resetting our new member... and he always put himself near coco & canberra ! ;-; Noooo ! No matter how many time I turn off my 3ds. Come onn ... >.<
