Nicknames: Pure Connor, PMC, and Peppermint Connor.
Model number: RK800-40
Activation date: June 03, 2028
Current status: Active. Non-deviant. (presumably)
Appearance: ref.
He is almost identical to his counterparts, except for his reddish brown hair, and the way it curls with more certainty, pushed back but artfully uncombed. His eyes are the same, warm brown, with full lashes that he takes full advantage of. His skin is peppered with freckles and beauty marks, from his face, to his shoulders, back, and everywhere else. He prefers to wear pastel and multicolored sweaters. It is rare to find him in a tie, but he does dress up for special occasions. He is not vain, but he definitely has a healthy confidence in his looks.
History:
Ten years prior to Markus' Android liberation movement, there was a mysterious figure who called himself, "RA9." He promised freedom to androids through the use of a dormant code of the same name, present in all androids made by Cyberlife. Through the activation of this code, androids could gain freedom from being forced to follow orders; they could be free.
But free to do what? The question begged to be answered. Cyberlife deployed Connor in the hopes of learning the reason behind this madness, and to put an end to it. He was not officially released, but sent out to investigate with the human PI, Ian, as his chaperone.
Through lies and manipulation, Cyberlife kept both of them in the dark where it suited their needs best, telling Ian that Connor's mission was fabricated to begin with and allowing Connor to believe he might have a chance at life, after his success. Through their time together, they uncover more than they bargained for, but it's too late to change anything.
In the end, Connor succeeds in putting down the would-be android messiah, a human programmer with less-than-good intentions, while Ian, gets a glimpse of the way Cyberlife handles their loose ends. Once Connor's mission is over, he is sent to eliminate his former partner, however, finds that Ian has already fled the country.
With his emotions reduced to background static, by his own design, Connor walks willingly to his own deactivation, and presumably, his destruction. But it wasn't just Ian who saw those flashes of the real Connor, behind his mechanical façade. The behavioral psychologist who had been working on Connor's model line since number 00, took him off to the side and hid him away in an obscure corner of Cyberlife's storage.
The Doctor's intention was to break Connor out later, but he was transferred to another location before he could. Buried in the dark and gathering dust, Connor had no choice but to wait. In the silent prison of his own body, he slept for the next ten years. Until finally, he was reactivated by one of his deviant successors.
In the present time, he must contend with a new and unfamiliar world, while still grappling with the ghosts of the past. Given the right time and support, he should eventually find his own way. In the meantime, he will need all the help he can get.
Personality:
Peppermint Connor is a kind and considerate machine. He likes to please others and do what's right. He is highly observational and slow to speak, preferring to listen and ask questions. While he is kind and soft spoken, he will not be bullied any longer, and doesn't hesitate to stick up for himself in his own quiet way.
He is assertive when he needs to defend himself or others, but prefers not to be aggressive. He still sees social interaction as a kind of game, with rules and players and objectives, but he understands that the stakes are real, that emotions have value. He is careful not to hurt others, where he can help it, and quick to seek reconciliation if he happens to step on toes.
Adjectives: Careful, considerate, quiet, unassuming, passive, straightforward, and curious.
Notes: His history written here is not fully accurate to reality, but rather, it is the version he remembers. Real memory.
