They needed to get to shelter before the night fell, and by them he meant himself and the younger man he was about to drag out of the river . Siwon had been on the run for a hurd of Clickers when he came upon the younger man in the river. Normally he wouldn't have bothered, it's each man to his own out here, but upon laying his eyes on this new encounter, Siwon had felt a tinch of familiarity that encouraged him to near him.
He jumped into the river, water cold and penetrating his clothing rapidly as he sloshed his way towards him with hands raised in a surrendering pose. The last thing he wanted was to get knifed and left for dead for the Infected to feast on. A part of him told him this man wouldn't harm him, whether it was his round face or smaller posture, Siwon wasn't certain. All he knew was that this was the first person he had met in the free district that reminded him of home.
”You have to get out of here. Clickers are on their way and the light is fading," Siwon whispered harshly to the other man as he motioned his head towards the setting sun. It wouldn't take long for the temperature to drop and leave them shivering throughout the night.
