So here’s how it all went down.

Cho talked to Meenah and gave her three ultimatums. It wasn't the ultimatums that bothered you. 1. Cho wanted Meenah to apologize to Sally. That was going to be very, very fucking hard, and you knew it. You've been working on their relationship behind the scenes (Like a Good Moirail, trying to keep your diamond safe and sane and not Angry at everyone, or hurting herself with guilt.) Doable, yes, but you knew it would take time. That didn't bother you. Fine. It needed to happen, Meenah without Sally was like... peanut butter without toast. 2. Cho wanted Meenah to *swear* not to hurt... What was it, just Chosis? No, you think it was clade, that Vis wanted, in the beginning. Vis wanted to trust Meenah with his clade, to know that she'd never hurt anyone he cared about so badly again. Not even that was *that* bad. A little for her, yeah, but she always had you to step in if someone really needed to get hurt.

Which, you know, right now, you're kind of feeling like you could hurt someone, which is a feeling you haven't felt in literal perigees, pacifist that you are. But nah. Didn't bother you. Nope.

And 3. Chosis wanted dinner at their house for Yule, in two perigees. Also not bad, provided you could get Meenah to feel better about Vis and Sally in that time.

No. What had you feeling so angry about this was... You would have agreed to these conditions if they hadn't been so... Demanding about them to Meenah. If Chosis hadn't been angry about the situation when they talked to her. Now Meenah felt like she was being pressured into them and, you know her. So you know she feels obligated to run the opposite direction of them. You know if she had her way, now, she'd never talk to Sally or Vis or Cho, or at least, it would add a few perigees onto the recovery time. Ugh. You weren't exactly happy with the way things had gone, so you expressed a desire to talk to Cho. Maybe you were wrong about their perceived tone.

God, you wish you had been.
