#plot: targeted

I found that Targeted plot that you had going. I'm assuming that if it hasn't updated by now, it isn't going to start up again so I'm not going to ask if it is. But I am curious if you know any possible ending to it at all and what it might have been?

[Actually, the not-so-anonymous anonymous prompter for that plot is apparently taking a semester off for work and might pick that up again soon. As is, when she originally ran it by me, the idea was gradually introducing more and more of the Enterprise until the entire ship knows about the alien race that doesn't want to be known and go from there.]

just curious if you're still doing that targeted plot? its perfectly fine if you're not because it happens. i should win a medal for not finishing things. i was just wanting to know if you moved on to other things or not.

//actually my prompter is down and out grading finals for the summer course she taught, so I’ve been biding my time. Plus we’ve had a few new people join and a few others who just got their replies to me. I plan on reconvening it sometime in the next two days. Here’s the current situtation:

Jim is on the bridge talking to Bones

M’Benga is in Med Bay, dealing with power loss

Chekov is on the Bridge at his console talking to an unknown user

Gaila is in Engineering, also talking to the unknown user

Number One is on her way to the Bridge

Dr. M'Benga has Medical Bay under control. He will be contacted by Leo soon.

A new player has contacted both Gaila and Chekov.

Number One is heading to the Bridge.

Remember, all outgoing comms have been cut, but comms between crew are still functioning, though someone seems to watching your every action.

The day after being discovered missing, Dr. McCoy has convinced the newly-christened Hephaestians to contact the Enterprise. All systems except the life support are down.

Captain Kirk is negotiating with the Hephaestians on the Bridge.

Gaila is attempting contact on a separate PADD.

Chekov is attempting to figure out their control of the ship.

For the first time, they allow him to see more than words, they let him in on a fraction of the full potential of what they call the Network, and suddenly Leo understands he’s been kept in a form of isolation.

He can here them chatter around him, as well, in a language that sounds a lot like the old dial-up noise Chekov used as a ring tone.

He gets the feeling, as he observes several distinct life clusters, that the decision to bring him on board was heavily protested, but well he’s here, and right now he’s about to establish contact with home, and that’s the only thing that matters.
