Noise reducing earplugs vs headphones - Which is better?
I have been doing a lot of research on the best noise reducing headset after our OT suggested that my daughter would benefit from using these as she gets very overwhelmed in noisy places and would constantly cover her ears and have massive meltdowns which can last hours. I came across a website selling a product called Pluggies. This revolutionary earplug has a unique Alpine Acoustic filter inside and claims they can assist kids with ADHD, ADD and autism with improving concentration. I am a bit concerned with spending so much on a full headset that my daughter will constantly pull off. Pluggies allows conversations to still be heard but protects against excessive ambient noise. Has anyone had experience with noise reducing earplugs like these? and what are your thoughts?
