ohhh my god i also got tubes in my ears as a kid and i have the exact same issues!! i actually ruptured my ear drum recently because i was trying to get water out of my ear so be careful!

i do recommend just using silicone ear plugs like swimmers use! they're pretty effective at keeping water out if you do it right

Yeah, I used to wear earplugs when I first got them, but I hated them because they got caught in my hair all the time. But at this point, I’m willi my to suffer.

Plug collection

I reached my goal size on my left ear a few months ago (right has been this size for ages), and recently I've discovered that I'm able to wear some of my double flares in it, though unfortunately not all of them just yet, so I thought I'd do a post where I show some of them.

I also had my forward helix pierced in February and I am now able to swap the ends, so I've got a couple of different ones of those here too. Any redness is just from changing the jewellery, nothing is irritated!

NOTE: some of these are resin, however as resin may be unsafe if worn in contact with skin for a long time, I only ever get ones that are inside a metal tunnel.

First pic, amethyst stud and a resin plug with real mushrooms and moss in it. Second pic, jade stud and dragons blood jasper plug. The stud in my lobe is quartz.

Long shot but anyone got any recommendations for concert earplugs/ protectors?

(I don't wanna be buying dropshipped cr*p off Amazon or something...)

I went to my first ever concert this year (ghost skeletour) and I'm going to more next year (albeit smaller ones unless Ghost comes back to the UK, currently have tickets to Avatar and Dogma but I am hoping to see some other bands).

And after I got quite bad (temporary) tinnitus after Ghostcon it's obvious my ears are getting old 😂 So I'd appreciate any suggestions!
