Replies, A Rosy Boa crawls into a Bar
@dunne-ias If only they weren’t such work-a-holics! Next round they’ll definitely have to explore the dog park.
@pixeldolly Me too! I’ll probably have to add more housing almost immediately.
@plumbbobtoggled Some people say it was formed by a single drop of venom from the fang of the ancestral Rosy Boa . . . but quick thinkers might notice that boas are not, in fact, venomous. (Fun facts: the rosy boa is even less threatening than the common garden snakes (to humans and sims, at least). They’re about two feet long, their reaction to getting picked up is to curl up into a ball like an armadillo, and they’re one of the slowest snake species on the planet! They’re so slow that they have to just wait around for prey to walk up to them. I think they’re a perfect town mascot.)
Anyway, maybe ancestral boas did have venom! It certainly doesn’t have anything to do with whatever they were researching in the dog park.
@eulaliasims I played around with the idea as a vacation hood first - sort of a desert retreat instead of a mountain hood. But I realized I’d want to spend way more time there than the (very) occasional vacation.
@gold33 Thank you! Me too. I gave myself an A+ for execution.
@episims Right? I love Owl Creek but (and you probably feel the same way occasionally) sometimes I get burned out on all the green! Stays in The Boasis will be a good balance.
