Yesterday was a fucking day. So I treated myself to a new doll.

She's gorgeous. Target has her (and other MH dolls) cheaper online, but if you're particular about screenings or don't want to pay shipping, they'll match the price. So I got her for $18.99.

Then while I was at Target saw the Mini Fashions balls were on clearance for $3, and I got the last two. The bags open, and the bright pink heart is perfect for the doll I've been working on.

And then while I was at the dentist, I got a package from LoneCoconut. Because it took so long to manufacture the figures from their second Kickstarter, they threw in a bonus coin that you were able to trade in for a surprise. None of the physical locations were nearby so they mailed it to me.

So for the cost of shipping, I got an exclusive from their original Kickstarter. This is Cursed Idol.

And we’ve got a neat-looking new Kickstarter toyline! It’s called Plunderlings, it’s being put together by a bunch of peeps from other collector toy companies like NECA, Four Horsemen, and McFarlane, and it’s made up of a bunch of the cutest little pirate goblins you ever did see. It’s a real clever, original concept (god I dig the name), and the little gobbies have a solid creepy-cute aesthetic that makes them real generally appealing as far as adorable little dudes to build a little horde of a pirate crew out of. They’ve even got degrees of customization in what clothes you can slap on them! It’s a fun idea, and I hope it works. Seems like it will, it’s pretty close to its goal already.
