Progress on the T. Ocellus plush will likely be very slow since I decided to hand-embroider the 8 individual irises around the body.

I'm getting a little help from the AVP Xeno here but it isn't much faster at it either

Finally attempting this after 2 months of not sewing because I psyched myself out too much. Not bad for a first pass, but there's a lot I need to fix. I also don't know why my machine keeps having tension issues, it seemed like I had gotten it running very smoothly for awhile and then just. Not.

Need to make the outlines thicker so they cover the scrap fabric better, and probably hoop it tighter. I think the guideline for the nose is probably also a mistake.

The pink looks a bit light, but I can't find a darker thread that doesn't start to stray too far into purple...also it matches the fabric I have for his nose pretty well so we'll see how it ends up looking. I guess a lot of other DJMM plushies do use this type of pink so I think it's probably fine? But I do think I can find a lighter pink for the inside of his mouth. Or pooooosibly leave it black since his mouth doesn't light up in HW2? Idk, probably the lighter pink would work better compositionally.

Also since this was a test run I didn't bother fully cleaning it up, I think I could make this one look better if I wanted to use it. (Ie cutting the jump stitches on his piano keys and trimming a bit more of the scrap thread/fabric)

I have new found motivation to continue a plush I previously paused but there's also another plushy idea

What should I do?

continue work on the plush Power Scream Kraata from Bionicle

make a plush T. Ocellus from Alien: Earth instead

Cameo

I noticed my teddy bear head that was ready to sew kind of looked like a mouse cameo

I have a plushy made- but I haven't finished him because, well, I can't figure out who to make him into.

I wanted to make an Ivan plushy (Shh, leave me alone.) But he's too tan for that...

He's lighter than my other material, but still... 

He's sorta this color (maybe a little more chocolate) :

SO! Who should I make this plushy into? 

Anyone, any fandom, just shoot me some ideas.
