Google+ Wonderful Possibilities
Have you tried Google+ yet?
A good bunch of us in the office felt quite lucky to get an invitation to start using this new social network in a world where Facebook has been by far the leading social networking platform (and still is).
Whilst for some people the introduction of a new platform is exciting, for others it's more like an 'oh no! do I have to get used to something new... again??!!' Well, the answer is yes, new platforms, systems, etc. mean new ways of doing things but the good news is that so far Google+ is very intuitive (definitely more intuitive than Facebook) so I wouldn't panic just yet. Let's hope that Google+ doesn't make the same privacy mistakes Facebook has been making again and again and we may end up with a really good service worth loving.
Will the world tip towards Google+ or will it stay on the current heavy side of Facebook? Only time will tell. However, Google+ seems to have started with the "right foot" by having been introduced to the world in a ready-to-use platform (unlike Google Wave ever was!).
Time will tell of course but see Google+, I see +1 button and see wonderful possibilities.
And now let's do some more testing, shall we? :-)
