[PLUTO AMV] August Closing His Mouth After a Long Summer's Yawn

for the past two months I've been working on this, it's my first AMV in several years and I'm really really proud of how it turned out! pluto is one of my favorite manga and this is one of my favorite songs. I wanted to evoke the feeling of calm after wartime, wanting to exhale and let everything go but sensing that it's only a matter of time before the cycle continues and it all comes crashing down.

pluto edit!!! this came to me in a vision on the roads of arkansas countryside with a playlist on shuffle i heard waste and i thought to myself GODDAMN. THIS SOUNDS LIKE WHAT HAPPENED TO PLUTO AND NEW HORIZONS!!!!!!! the first few "what a waste to be so alone" was humanity saying "oh, what a waste to be left out, let's find you, let's give you a name, come join the rest of your beautiful system" the next was humanity going back on that statement, "what a waste of our time" and the last, was the new horizons probe, pluto's only friend saying "what a waste," to all the effort they put into making her just for her to leave her beloved pluto behind pluto is my favorite planet and i think they were never meant to be abandoned.
