I’m calling it now, at some point in the “funeral” episode (is that 8x16?) Tommy is going to make some kind of comment to Eddie about the whole Buck thing. They’ll be alone for some reason and Tommy will be like “Evan’s really missed you, Diaz” or “I was at your old place the other day, I love what Evan’s done with it” or SOMETHING. And Eddie will respond to it with grace, I’m thinking 2x01 “what are we measuring here, Buck?” kind of vibes. “Something you wanna say to me, Tommy?” And Tommy will be all like “no, no, I wasn’t trying to suggest anything. I mean it, he really missed you. I just wonder if you missed him the same way.” And he’ll walk off. And we all know what he’s getting at. And Eddie will be so angry but he won’t acknowledge why and he’ll keep it in. And Buck will come over “the hell was that about?” as he watches Tommy walk away. “Nothing,” Eddie will say, “it’s nothing.”
