☺ my muse helping your muse fall asleep

when these two girls had sleepovers together, there was almost always very little to no sleep what-so-ever. they were either up all night talking about the latest drama or binge watching countless movies. although, this night was different. lennon and cara had to be up for 6 AM call time the next morning so if they didn’t get the right amount of sleep, the crew members would find their groggy giggles even more unbearable. cara prepared two warm cups of chamomile tea for herself and lennon in hopes that it would help make them fall asleep with ease. ‘ i figured this would be better to fall asleep to than me singing high school musical songs to you as both troy and gabriella, ’ she teased as she passed the cup over to lennon. ‘ but, the offer’s still on the table if you want me to. ’

cara didn’t consider herself very good at that many things in her life but if there was one thing she credited herself for, it was being there for those who she holds dearest. it didn’t matter what time it was or what she was doing, she would be right by the side of anyone who needed her. this time was no exception. lennon is one of cara’s best friends and she couldn’t imagine herself being anywhere other than with the grieving girl at a time like this. cara curled up next to lennon on her fluffy, king sized bed; she rested her head on her friend’s shoulder and stayed quiet — she didn’t even say a word, hoping that lennon would just know she was here for her no matter what without having to say it.

margot blushes, smiling brightly at the girl. “what are these for, oh my gosh?” she questions. “len, you are the sweetest person i know honestly. can i take you out to lunch for thanks? it’s not flowers, but it’s something.” the smile shines out from her face. “i really can not believe you got me these - it’s so nice.”

she wipes the tears from her eyes, not exactly trying to hide it but trying to pretend she was alright. “oh, hey len, i didn’t see you there,” she spoke quietly, offering the girl a tiny sad smile. “um, i’m fine and i don’t want to talk about it, so - how are you?” she sniffles quietly, rubbing off her smeared makeup.

margot is laughing so hard her sides hurt as they’re running down the street through the driving rain. “oh my god, the hair and makeup ladies are going to kill us!” margot gasps through her giggles, grabbing lennon’s hand and pulling her down the street. “we have to get back so we can dry off!”
