"Associative play is when children play together, but have different ideas and goals. For example, talking to each other and playing with the same materials, but doing different things. It also describes children playing separately from one another, but still involved with what others are doing. Each child has their own interests in their play and doesn’t need to conform to what the others are doing."
My child's teacher sent a description of this type of play, and I read it thinking, "does she mean.... It's like simblr?"
I had a day off work today, pals, and I went... outside. It was nice. Some non-sims scenery below the cut.
Updating my Skyrim mods. If everything works, I might take a Sims hiatus. If anything is even remotely broken or wonky (I typed 'bronky' the first time), I will be immediately back here because I can't be bothered fixing stuff.
It's my birthday, pals! As a present to myself, today I will reblog some of my own favourite posts just because I can.
I'm away on holiday for a week so I can't get horse pack yet. Never mind, I thought, I've never had horse girl tendencies, and it'll be a buggy mess anyway. To my shock, from everyone's posts it looks..... actually good and fun? And the world looks very pretty.
💌 | Forget about sims, lets learn about YOU! Tell us one fact about yourself, and then send this to 5 other Simblrs to do the same 🌻🍀
Hi Mari, thanks for the ask! My fun (?) fact is that I watched the film Mermaids so many times at a formative stage that it essentially become part of my personality. My dad taped it off the TV for me when I was 13-ish, and I watched it literally every day for weeks. It's the film with Cher and Winona Ryder as mother and daughter. I rewatched it recently and it's still great.
Yesterday I decided to update reshade, but my presets looked weird, so I tried to go back to the old reshade, but I broke everything in the switchover, so I had to find new sources for the old shaders, and eventually I got everything back to how it was before but it was three hours later.
