Madoka!Niall: Niall is so so so so sweet and hopeful and carefree and loves everyone and that just sounds like Madoka to me

Mami!Liam: Liam is nurturing and I feel like Mami is too, to the other girls. Also I like the idea of Liam soaring about brandishing fancy muskets and just being fancy

Homura!Zayn: introverts. not necessarily loners, bc around their friends they're more likely to open up. but otherwise, they'd rather not be bothered I think. also both care impossibly deeply for their loved ones--ok, Zayn didn't travel through multiple timelines to keep Niall from signing up for X Factor, but he did buy his mom a house and that is a kind gesture /understatement

Sayaka!Harry: honestly he was the only one left and so was she. although you could say Harry believes in love and justice and getting to be a hero for someone could be appealing to him. not as much as it would be for Liam but Mami has that quality too. in retrospect Liam was a better fit for Sayaka (and Harry could be Mami bc curls and tea) but I don't quite know why I didn't go through with it
