❝ you shouldn't look at me like that. ❞ - ivy

“Like what?” Quentin could do his best to play it off, but even he knew how he had been looking at her. It had been the same way he looked at her for weeks. As if he couldn’t stop, as if he didn’t want to, as if he couldn’t get enough of simply looking in her direction. Was it really such a bad thing to just look at her? In her eyes and the eyes of nearly everyone else in town, it was a bad thing for him to do just about anything. As if reading his thoughts, he watched Ivy tilt her head to the side and it caused him to glance down with a low chuckle coming from him. He was the guy who couldn’t seem to do anything right and while everyone called him out on it, it bothered him a little more when she did. "I don’t think He is going to smite me just for looking at you," he spoke while glancing back up and in her direction. "I’ve done plenty worse things for the big guy upstairs to pick from and you know it."
