These are all baby offshoots of literally 1 (ONE) Oregon grape bush I planted in the ground a few years ago, after getting it for $5 at a bareroot sale and nursing it in pots for years until I had somewhere to put it.

All of these came with a good chunk of root system, so most should take and be a new bush ready to plant a few months from now.

I still have another oregon grape and 2 snowberry bushes to collect propagated babies from, but snowberries root so readily from scions I might just leave all but those that have spread into the way

I've probobly talked about this b4 but it still lowkey pisses me off so here goes anyway 💀

Indigiqueer culture is that time I was just mildly ranting about my hair delemas as someone who has fluctuating gender euphoria from it as a Native person in a queer, mostly white, space, not really looking for input, and one of the ppl there i didn't even know that well was like "I happen to have this other Native transmasc friend and you dont have to worry about it because there's ceremonies and Yadav yada" like no shit? 💀

One, you dont know shit about me or my tribe, I know that cause I barley know shit and I knew even less at the time (especially around traditional hair customs). Two I wasn't even talking about it in a traditional sence?? None of my circle cares like that so i have no kind of insensitive to go a "traditional" route. Its not like we (my family) aren't allowed to have hair cuts, im talking from an indecisive position not one of beurocratic restraint. I was just like "im so annoyed with tending to my long ass hair and it reminds me a bit too much of my femininity, but also it kinda gives me euphoria being a Native man. And similtaniously im not outwardly precived as a Native person nor a man so ughh." Granted not in such a susinct fashion but still, what makes you think, you, as a white person, have any authority on this??
