Work has taught me that as long as you're black, you can get away with anything: 3-hour lunches, incomplete projects, replying to all reprimands with "It's because I'm black!", lying, threats, etc. and not get fired.

Additional note: Of course, I’m not saying POC can’t have jobs, or anything like that at all. However, at my job, HR refers to our black clerk as the “token black” and highly recommends that we try not to fire him because of the benefits. (They’ve also divided our prospective resumes before and sent us only those of POC, disabilities, or retirees).
