Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce at age 38 raced into history today, her final lap in an iconic career. She ran in Jamaica’s 4×100m relay to a silver medal at the 2025 World Championships in Tokyo, passing the baton, quite literally to the next generation. 🏃🏾‍♀️🇯🇲

Her personal best of 10.60 seconds (2021) makes her the third-fastest woman in history. Over nearly two decades she collected three Olympic golds, ten world golds, and became a symbol of resilience, coming back after giving birth, defying expectations about age, motherhood, and longevity in sport.

Her final individual race (100m final in Tokyo) ended with a 6th-place finish (11.03s), but make no mistake, her legacy is so much bigger than time or medals.
