Les miserables? More like Les Moustaches
In Loving Memory of George Blagden
He's not dead I just love remembering him
Sometimes R likes to serenade Enj with bad pop songs in public and watch his face turn red. His personal favorite is "Hit me baby one more time". Courf sometimes backs him up. Enjolras couldn't be more embarrassed. Sometimes Enj has bad days, and R can always tell. When he notices, he grabs his guitar (which he lovingly named GuitaR, by the way) and gets on the bus to go to Enj's. Wordlessly, he sits down on the same, beaten up chair and plays the softest, sappiest love songs he knows (some of which he wrote himself). Enjolras couldn't be more in love.
HEY. QUESTION(S) FOR YOU. What do you think of the Les Amis being born in different countries? Do you think people like Enj or the Thenardiers should be born in France? Is Enj just passionate about France or the whole world?
This is such a cool question??
First of all, I LOVE the idea of Les Amis being from all different countries (Brazilian Courf and R tho) and coming together from all different places. To me it just seems like Les Amis would be a really cool and diverse group who campaign about issues from all over the world, or issues that affect lots of countries (I’m not opposed to them all being from France though, I just like them being from different countries a little better).
For me, it doesn’t really matter where people like the Thenadiers or Enjolras are from, but I can see how people might want them to be born in France because their names are… Really French. It makes more sense in fanfictions, but it doesn’t matter to me that much.
I also have so much love for Enjolras who is passionate about the whole world. He just seems so optimistic about being able to change things for the better that I feel like he wouldn’t want to keep that to just one country. Although I feel like Enjolras would take a lot of pride in whichever country he was born in, I think he would want to create change for the better in all countries. Again, I’m not opposed to him just wanting to make change in France, but I do feel like he would want to focus on other places in the world too! I may reblog posts about him loving France or jokes about him being in love with France and other stuff like that, but when posts don’t specify where he’s trying to advocate for something, I like to imagine it’s a worldwide campaign.
Thanks for asking, this was a lot of fun to answer :)
our music teacher told us that our musical next year would probably involve some big dance numbers, but she wasn’t allowed to tell us anything else. someone goes “well, we can probably rule out les mis” (cue small sad sigh from the group). @parnasse remarks that it could be the dance version, if it existed. something clicked in my head just then
“dance dance revolution”
I drew some Amis! I realize they're not incredible but I'm actually really proud of them! Sorry about the red all over the page, this is from my sketchbook and I didn't realize I was coloring on the back of this until I'd already done so (oops) Please don't repost these (I don't see why you would), but likes and reblogs are much appreciated!
My birthday is tomorrow and it’s “Day of the Barricades” which technically doesn’t have a real connection to the French Revolution or the June Rebellion but that’s not gonna stop me from blasting Do You Hear the People Sing from my cat shaped speaker and screaming
@lesmiserablessecretsanta Enjoltaire playlist for @en-jclras (Art is not mine! I’m not quite sure who the artist is, but if anyone knows please message me! I will be more than happy credit them!)

I wish I knew a lot more unique songs to put on here, but I don’t ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. This has no theme to it other than being songs that remind me of Enjoltaire (my apologies!), and I have no idea what your taste in music is, but I really hope you like it! -pocketgrantaire :)
